About Merki

Merki Inference Pte. Ltd. is an inference company. We run language and multimodal models on managed infrastructure and report the numbers behind every request: latency, tokens, and cost.

Why inference is cheaper here

Our serving stack is built on proprietary Merki technology. It is why the prices in the model catalog sit well below the list prices of the same models elsewhere, without a hidden catch.

Two ways to run models

  • Hosted models. Run any model in the catalog directly on Merki.
  • Bring your own key (BYOK). Route through a key you already hold at Claude, OpenAI, or another provider. See Bring your own key.

Both routes are exposed through endpoints compatible with OpenAI and Anthropic clients, so existing SDKs and tools can point at Merki with a base URL and key change. See Endpoints and compatibility.

Access tiers

There are three tiers. See the tier matrix for the full comparison.

  • Regular. Open to anyone. Hosted models and BYOK.
  • Roleplay. For adults, 18 and over, with age assurance. Serves adult content.
  • Cybersecurity. For accountable operators: identity verified, and able to prove control of the servers they point Merki at.

Verification

Checks are sized to the risk. Age is gated by content, so only Roleplay has an age gate: 18 and over, confirmed by Sumsub age assurance. Cybersecurity is gated by accountability and domain control, not age: identity verification plus a DNS TXT record or a .merki challenge file, valid for at most 7 days and re-checked every 30 to 60 seconds. Keeping keys safe

API keys are revoked automatically when tooling that embeds them is committed to git, or when a key is found exposed on the public internet. See API keys.

Data handling

Merki does not retain your prompts or completions. The only exception is the cache. See Zero data retention.

Billing

Merki is credit based, and only credit based. Prices are in US dollars. Top-ups of 100 USD or more in a single top-up earn 5% bonus credits, with a lifetime cap of 300 USD per account. Bonus credits are spent first. There are no subscriptions, and no limit on how many accounts you create. Bonus caps are per account, and farming bonuses across accounts is a violation.
